Beltrami County Housing Trust Fund: Pre-Application Now Open for Large-Scale Housing Development Projects

The Beltrami County Housing Trust Fund, administered by United Way of Bemidji Area, is now accepting pre-applications for large-scale construction and development projects. This initiative is an opportunity to address the critical need for housing in our community by enhancing availability, affordability, and accessibility for individuals and families in Beltrami County.

We invite qualified non-profit, for-profit, and government entities to complete a pre-application for projects that expand and improve local housing options through construction, development, rehabilitation, or other innovative approaches. Proposals must increase the county's housing stock by a minimum of 100 units.

Pre-applications are being accepted now through October 9, 2026. Submitting a pre-application does not guarantee funding; applicants will be notified whether they are invited to submit a full application. Interested developers are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements before applying.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 9, 2026. All materials must be submitted through the United Way of Bemidji Area website.
